jwp475Case Prep Is It Needed
The group posted above is for the 300 win figures to .317 MOA which is where this rifle shoots
The group for the 338 Lapua is .238 MOA which is wehere this rifle normal shoots.
Tha above groups are measured outside to outside, so I subtracted a bullet diameter from each to get center to center and diveded by 3 (groups were shot at 300 yards and the divided by 1.0472 toget MOA
I think this is good enough for me. I do seat the Lapua to 3.860" inches inorder to have the boatail at the neck shoulder junction of the case to eleiminate the "doughnut" from causing uneven case neck tension

Hot CoreCandidate for the STUPIDEST questionon the Long Range Board. Only exceeded by the STUPIDITY of the below. Of course, when you are nothing but a Gut Shooter then this is the kind of IGNORANCE a person can expect.

i really don't think JWp deserves that kind of lashing. I know you do a lot of case prep as I read in the other thread, he was just trying to start some discussion.

How would you know, Hot Core? You have never ever taken an Elk, yet you belittle anyone that asks about the 270 on Elk. I'd wager you've never taken any game animal and you've never posted a picutre of a single group that you have shot. Do you even shoot? It appears that all that you are capable of is personla attacks and rants about what you have no personal knowledge about.

Hot CoreHey boss ass, Stick it in your obummer.
At long range small things can make a big difference. A 0.5" group at 100 yards does not mean a 5" group at 1000. Easiest way to test your equipment is to test your equipment. Go shoot at long range and if it does what you want then call it good. If not, then start experimenting.

HC, you must be another one of those "Don't ask, don't tell" guys; what with your fascination with other folks obummers. Guess you are too busy with that to go out and kill anything.

A classic "Hot Core" post no substance and no contribution to the forum. He has 9900 + post of this nature

This is the kind of childish response given by someone with a poor command of the english language and no experience to back up their position. Based on prior posts, I expected nothing more or less from Hot Core.
Good Lord!! If that is the best you have got then we are done here.

ted thornI found AR 5 years ago looking for load data. What I found was a wealth of information and helpful members. I have been "out west" 3 times now with a couple more trips this year because of info I gathered here.
Those were the days.....what is here today is not the AR of 5 years ago.....ashame.

Oh my! All I was saying was sticking up for JWP. I don't understand why the boss was calling him an AHole. He's trying to add.
As for contributing to the page, what have you given, mrs.hitman? Seems like not a thing except nastyness.
