Duane Wiebe (CG&R)SAVAGE TACTICAL RIFLES
For a friend...any thoughts about Savage for the hobbyist long range target shooter?
A friend has one in 338 Lapua; they are good rifles for the money. I know they make a single shot, and a couple of magazine models.

Duane Wiebe (CG&R)Thanks..I hear the trigger is top notch and I like the idea of the 5R rifling. I think , along with what you tell me, I'll recommend he look it over

p dog shooterI own 3 of them all are very accurate.
One 223m that has accounted for thousands of P dogs.
The other two in 308 because they were cheap to buy

Nothing new they been calling any rifle with a scope on it a sniper rifle for decades.
Only good for killing humans.

And sniping crows.I've fooled with quite a few factory savages.....all have shot well above their price point.
But for Gods sake do not bore scope them before you shoot them!!!!
