Monday i called SonyStyle to see if i could cancel my order for the 828 because their website indicated they still don't have them in stock. The guy wanted to know if i'd be interested in keeping the order in place and getting $50.00 off the purchase price. So, i said maybe. Then i asked if he could throw in a memory stick instead. So he said maybe. Then he checked some stuff and said he could allow me a 128mg memory stick (70.00 value) in lieu of the $50.00. So, i said yes. Then i get an e-mail yesterday saying the camera had been shipped. Ya-Hoo!

It came already. FedEx is fast. They are sending the memory stick separately. But, it uses compact flash card, too, so i'll get one of those someplace and then try to take some pictures tomorrow after reading the book.
