GeorgeSThis is probably covered in the manual supplied with the camcorder (either in print or on the software CD).
You can always try dragging-and-dropping between two Windows Explorer windows, one pointing to your DVD reader and the other pointing to your C: drive.

RayKeep in mind that maybe just a short video clip could be e-mailed. Videos are not the best thing to e-mail, since they take quite a long time for the person at the other end to download it to his or her computer. Not so with a short clip, however.
Now, you could burn DVD's on your computer, and mail those via USPS to your friends. There may be some simple programs for doing such things on the PC, but It's much easier to accomplish the same on a Macintosh. The Mac comes ready for it from the company.

PumpkinheaverMy camcorder burns directly video directly onto the dvd. You can also take still shots with it. I just don't know how to get them onto the computer. No firewire or USB port. I need to save these pics/videos to my hard drive using the DVD drive. How do I do it?

GeorgeSLoad the camcorder's DVD into your computer's DVD drive, and ry dragging-and-dropping between two Windows Explorer windows, one pointing to your DVD drive and the other pointing to your C: drive.
