cchunterThank you Greg
I took it in Venice 1987 during an Interrail vacation in Europe. Recently I went through more than 10,000 photos I have taken in about 15 years and picked the best 250 to have the Photo Store scan the negatives so I can use them digitaly. The quality becomes outstanding and its very easy to work with the photos without going in to the darkroom.
Now i don't order prints anymore when I develope a film, I scan it directly.
I will enter a Photo contest next year with this picture so I thought it would be interesting to here some opinions.
I do all my photoediting in Microsoft PhotoDraw v.2,0

Pecos41Wild. How do you seperate the color from the b&w, if you don't mind giving up your secrets?
Good work, Christer. P45

amosgregPecos,
Takes the photo and copies it on a B&W copier then uses crayons to color it. He then scans the image and cleans up the scribbles when he made mistakes coloring in Photoshop
Christer do tell!
ps Couldn't resist!

cchunterOK Pecos 45 this is for you
Greg hold your eyes for a couple of lines (that was not nice to talk dirty of my fine art work) starting now.
Ok the image is B&W from the beginning (scanned negative), I use Microsoft photodraw v.2.0 and (this is my translation from swedish) I chose the tool colour by painting. I get to chose the size of a brush and zoom up to 400% and go very carefully at the lines. If I paint outside the hat for example I have an Undo brush to use.
I show you some more examples in a while.

D HumbargerYou might consider getting Adobe Photo Shop 7.0, It's expensive but it is an awesome tool.
