Thank you Greg

I took it in Venice 1987 during an Interrail vacation in Europe. Recently I went through more than 10,000 photos I have taken in about 15 years and picked the best 250 to have the Photo Store scan the negatives so I can use them digitaly. The quality becomes outstanding and its very easy to work with the photos without going in to the darkroom.

Now i don't order prints anymore when I develope a film, I scan it directly.

I will enter a Photo contest next year with this picture so I thought it would be interesting to here some opinions.

I do all my photoediting in Microsoft PhotoDraw v.2,0

Wild. How do you seperate the color from the b&w, if you don't mind giving up your secrets?

Good work, Christer. P45

Pecos,
Takes the photo and copies it on a B&W copier then uses crayons to color it. He then scans the image and cleans up the scribbles when he made mistakes coloring in Photoshop [Big Grin]

Christer do tell!

ps Couldn't resist!

OK Pecos 45 this is for you

Greg hold your eyes for a couple of lines (that was not nice to talk dirty of my fine art work) starting now.

Ok the image is B&W from the beginning (scanned negative), I use Microsoft photodraw v.2.0 and (this is my translation from swedish) I chose the tool colour by painting. I get to chose the size of a brush and zoom up to 400% and go very carefully at the lines. If I paint outside the hat for example I have an Undo brush to use.

I show you some more examples in a while.

You might consider getting Adobe Photo Shop 7.0, It's expensive but it is an awesome tool.
