WinkNikon 200-500mm
Some of you may already know that Nikon has started shipping their new 200-500mm f/5.6 zoom lens. If you have a Nikon DX body (like any of the D5XXX or D7XXX series camera bodies) then you end up with a 300-750mm lens. Now we're talking.
It's too new to have any real reviews of the lens, but a couple of bloggers have already tried it out. Guess what, it's sharp. But it's no light-weight: 5 pounds. I included this link to a birder, since they are always the most finicky about sharpness (feathers are a challenge).

https://roymangersnes.wordpres...r-200-500mm-f56e-ed/I saved the best for last, $1,400. No need to buy a Sigma or a Tamron, this lens is probably better, in a number of ways.
