NaphtaliSwap feasible?
I am a film person rather than digital - better resolution, plus orders of magnitude longer image life. I have a Nikon FM2/T in excellent condition. This is the titanium version of Nikon's top-of-the-line mid-size 35 mm film camera. Its operation is completely manual - although its on-camera exposure meter requires a battery. No battery equals a non-functional meter - but all else functions.
I have been thinking about trading the FM2/T for Nikon's FM3A. This is a remarkably similar film camera, with a partially battery controlled exposure adjustment.
Okay, to my question: Is such a trade reasonable for me to consider? Would such a trade be equally reasonable for an FM3A owner? Learning curve of/for differences in cameras' operation would be measured in fractions of an hour; they're that close.
