SaeedIf You Are Using A Canon XF300 Series - Or Any File Based Video Camera...
We just returned from our safari in Tanzania.
We had a Canon XF305 and a Canon XF300 video cameras.
They worked very well. But, we have discovered something you might bear in mind if you are going to be using these cameras. And I suspect any other file based video cameras.
We had CF cards in the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
For hunting, one needs the camera to come on line very fast. And it seems the smaller the capacity of the CF card, the quicker the camera is ready for action.
In fact, we stopped using the 128GB cards except for backup.

BaxterBHow much time per type of card are you getting?

SaeedWe have not timed them.
But would estimate a 128GB card taking about 20 seconds.
This, of course, means nothing in normal video taking.
But, for hunting, it can mean the difference between having a video or not.
