Mighty JoeI bought a Nexstar, 8 gig, MP4 for about $ 65 and it has a 1.5 x 2.5 screen that will connect to a trailcam that has a USB port. Decent resolution. You can suck out the photos, view and delet the ones you don't want. Size is about that of a calling card case. Charges on your computer USB port. You can also use it to carry photos, music, data files....

WinkI understand an ultra-portable like an MSI Wind U100-420US costs around $350. I could be wrong on the price but if it's true, wouldn't this be a better choice than an expensive card reader? This little computer can do it all, like any computer, and has a larger screen than a card reader.
