Thanks ! A recent National Geographic program about Hippos was very interesting .DNA studies show they are most closely related to whales !!...Keep the photos coming .

Saeed I always enjoy looking at your photos but could you also let us "Shutter Bugs" know what camers you are using. You know that we always need to know the details.

We had a number of different cameras, which include the following:

Nikon D2X and a Nikon D200. These shared several lenses, including a Nikon 80-400 VR, Tamron 28-300, a Nikon 28-200.

Panasonic FZ 30 and FZ 7
Canon S3 IS
Canon Ixus 800

What a wonderful place! I love it when people come back from a place like that with photo's of the animals in the wild rather than a bunch of dead animals with a gun laying on them and some fat guy behind them. I know and understand those photo's of the kill but I dearly love the photo's of the live animals!!
