Help with Trail Camera

I want to take my host in Namibia a trail camera. I want to spend less than $400. I want something of good quality. I notice some use C cell and some use D cell batteries. I would think D cells would be easier to get. What are your recommendations as I have 0 experience with trail cameras. I see Cabelas has a couple on sale. Where can I get the best canera for the best price and in less than 3 weeks?
