Kudos to Canon. I bought a A 80 pocket camera many years ago. It travelled with me on many rugged hunts. About a year ago it gave up the ghost. I figured it has provided great service given the circumstances. A friend told me to contact Canon and they might be able to fix it. I did and they told me to send it back to them and if it was not abused they could probably fix it and if so they would provide a estimate. They even e-mailed me a packing slip and shipment details to place on the return box. I received a e-mail when they received it and two days later received another e-mail that it was repaired no charge! They even paid the return postage. I did not abuse the camera but I also did not baby it. They even replaced some dented and scratched outer body parts. Great Service!
