Plinker603Help identifying dog or coyote
Trail camera picture...
I didn't think coyotes were that dark across the back, but i've not seen that many. Looks sort of like a German Shepherd dog? Any knowledgeable help appreciated.

Grizzly AdamsPretty fuzzy picture, but the tail doesn't look bushy enough to be a coyote, nor does the head look like a coyote. Haircoat would tell. Easy to identify, once you shoot them.

N E 450 No2I have 2 coyotes in my house right now.

Actually, they are mounted lifesize.

Looking at your picture I would say that is a dog.

MarkI was going to say the main way to tell the difference is that coyote is a little stringier than dog.

swampshooterI'd say it is somebodys pet german shepherd, looks too well groomed to be a wild dog. Definately not a coyote or coydog.
