nightwalker ukElectronic trap lure?
See you felles in the USA have a small device that emits bird/mouse squeaks etc.
Has anybody actually used these, and are they effective?
Just interested in this other method in the armoury!

1911reloaderDon't waste your money. Do it the old fashioned way.

TundragrizYes they are. Haven't used them on the trapline yet but I have used them overnight in the snow. Put the dogs on the tracks in the morning. Pulled in fox, coyote, and cats (both bob and lion).

nightwalker ukHas nobody used them on a trapline?
For young mustelids I reckon it would be brilliant in a woodland situation, especially in summertime when baits quickly go off?

kwkI tried them on the trapline. I had animals come aroung but never caught anything with them. I don't know why, if I turn one on outside I'll get every cat and dog in the neighborhood to come in. I had a mounain lion roll one about 20 feet along under a cliff. I had a fox jump up and pull one out of a tree that was probably 6 feet off the ground. I no longer bother wih them, I don't even know where mine are it's been so long since I used them.
