Which Jacketed Bullets for 1886?
My 1886 in .33 Winchester will arrive next week. Anyone using jacketed bullets for the . 33 Winchester and the 40-65 Winchester? If so which ones.

Contact Buffalo arms they will have what you need I have a 40/65 but neve got bullets for it from them .

Still have some Hornady 200's( They may re-produce them rumor has it)

Hawk has made me some good ones,(200, 215) though pricey.

Mostly I shoot 200 or 250 Gr FNHCGC's

40-65:
Again mostly FNHCGC"s
Also Hawk makes .406 and .408
I got a CH tools die to down size the 300 gr. Hornady FP 300grs.

Can you tell us more about your CH tool die to down size 300g Hornady FP 300g? Is this to make bullets sized to shoot in the 40-65 in the 1886 Winchester lever rifle?

Looks like Hawks or hard-cast for now. Hornaday flex-tips available sometime soon I think.
