Got an 1866 in 44-40 I use for Blackpowder SASS classes. Its much faster then my 1894 marlin or Turnbull 92 Winchester.
Much more involved here than remove and replace. If I need to shortstoke the 66 --- I know I need to have a pro do it after reading this. I see frustration and broken parts in my future here
