Does anyone have any load data for this bullet they'd like to share?
Thanks

crsheltonIf I remember correctly, North Fork made a 330 grain FPS bullet for the .405 WCF, but I have never seen any load data for it.
You might check to see if Hawk makes a bullet close to 330 for the .405WCF.

NFMikeBack when I was fiddling with that bullet (NF 413-330 FPS) for JudgeG, I worked up a load with H4895 and got it going 2200fps. That was my target velocity and I stopped there. It showed no signs of problems in my rifle or Judge's but that was before I had my pressure barrel, so no guarantees on the pressures involved. I have not revisited the 405 since I sold the company. I'm not near my records but just start low and work up. 4895 is forgiving of low loads dencities when starting. I assume that if your bullet is made for the 405, it will, as mine did, take up a lot of powder space due to the necessity of seating deep for a functional magazine OAL. Remember, due to a case length of 2.58" and a practical max OAL of 3.18", you only have .6" allowable sticking out of the case.
