How difficult or expensive is it to install a hammer extension/spur on aModel 94/22 Winchester. I cannot mount a scope on mine as it stands now. Any/all advice is appreciated . Thanks again, Jerry Hoover

It should be trivial. It should slide right onto the hammer spur and then there is a set screw that is to be tightened to hold the extension on. I use one on my savage O/U .22 hornet O/U 12 ga to clear the rear bell on the turkey scope.
BTW - that is the most effective Turkey gun I have ever used.
