I don't think you'll find much argument there. If the .454 Casull could kill DG in a hand gun, certainly a rifle in 450 Marlin/45-70 in confident hands will that and more. And yes, I know, "so would a 22 LR with proper bullet placement". Which leads us down the road of the rule of 3: * Shot placement, bullet performance, and energy.* My two bits.
