BISCUT500 S&W Lever Gun Scope Recommendation
I have a Big Horm Armory lever in 500 S&W with a full-length Picatinny rail. I'd like to scope it.
Use is 100 yards paper punching with rare paper punching to 200 yards. Hunting use is most often 50-70 yards with an occasional longer shot across a farmers field. What scope do you recommend?
Also, big one! Whar height rings? I'm thinking low is the way to go here.
Thanks for the thoughts and replies.

Looking for a scope, not a dot.

CougarzHow about a Leupold 2.5 compact scope? It fits most lever actions quite well without being too big and destroying its handling qualities.

BISCUTI've found the 1.5x6 but I haven't seen the 2x. A 2x with quality glass could be ideal for this rifle.

MoreBSYou may want to look into a Prism Scope.
Some have a long eye relief and come in different powers.
Look at a scope with an illuminated reticle, that faint little red glow really helps at low light.
