.45-70 Hard cast bullets?
Is anyone aware if the bullets loaded in the Garrett, Buffalo Bore or Cor-Bon loads are available as components? If so, from where? Thanks.

Bwana-beBeartooth offers bullets heat-treated to aroun 21-22 BHN. They are low-antimony, and unlike the usual hard cast, supposedly aren't brittle on bone.

jaycocreekJB Young makes some of the finest hardcast around with definately the widest Meplat.Like Garrett's Hammerhead it is a winner.Know one else makes anything close to Garrett's load in Meplat size with Cast Performance being smaller than the Hammerheads .360 Meplat.JB's is .365.

KMuleinAKditto on the cast performance bullets - I use the 460 grain GC in both my 45-70 and my 450 ackley, usually with RE7 and WW748 respectively. Great bullets - KMule
