Puma 454 for Plinking? Your joking right? The 454 Puma is not a plinking gun unless your shooting just 45 LC through it! Now you could reload some fairly mild 454 rounds using Unique but with full house 454's I wouldn't consider this a plinking gun it's meant for serious woods work! It's a Big bore meant for heavy game at short range (200 yrds)capable of taking anything in North America.

This thing should make one hell of an armadillo gun!



I've heard some very good reports about these guns, BUT also that they are sometimes pretty finicky about what loads they'll shoot accurately.....I don't have one, but check out Paco Kelley's article on http://www.gunblast.com/PacoLegacy454.htm about them.

Yes thoose rocks with legs should blow-up quite nicely with a full house load (300gr XTP_MAG at 1995FPS)!!
