Rick RWinchester Timber Scout
All the bells and whistles, just add scope (or red dot)

I want one in .44 flavor.

Rick RThe Winchester website says .44 Mag and .30-30. I've got two .44 Mag revolvers and a rifle would fit right in.
A Scout Scope makes sense on a Winchester due to ejection (it makes sense on my Guide Gun due to recoil and my tender eyebrows

)

Rick RToo bad it'll take forever for them to make it down under.
Nice looking rifle you have there.
Would the .30-30 or .44 be a better choice for your bounding Aussie beasties?

Rick .44 rem mag smashs them very good in close 30/30 stretches the range a bit, but as you know a 30/06 is more of a good thing, the .300 RUM with 150 gr Nosler BT's is awsome for them at range.....................works like a giant 22/250 !!
The good old 45/70 is my favourite and I and two of my mates have used it a fair bit and it hits like the hammer of thor.
