Malcolm scope on 1895 Marlin Cowboy 45-70
I have been thinking of mounting one of the shorter Malcolm scopes on my 45-70 , has anyone done this and what they would think of this combo.

We are putting one on a Wickliffe we built for a fellow, they look really neat and should make a handsome rig on a lever gun.
