Marchesters...alive or not??

I just heard this afternoon from a gun dealer that Marlin had made an offer to buy the rights to Winchester lever guns and the offer was accepted.

Anybody able to confirm or deny??

The year of the .30-06!!

Haven't heard anything, but the move does mae a lot of sense.

Of course the winchester purists will howl in outrage...
