The gun looks ready to hunt right out of the box.If you need an airplane gun or one for the snow machine it should do the trick.

I'd like to see them chamber the '94 in .480 Ruger or .454 Casull or .500 S&W or all three!!!

I really like the looks of them and especially the sights, but I will agree with some of the others that a longer barrel on the critter would have been a lot nicer! Like a 20-22" barrel.

Never heard of such a thing with a Marlin. Plus you can clean a Marlin from the breach by removing just one screw. Plus are you for sure that you'll never want to put a scope on it? Maybe you will just want to stick one on temporary to test reloads.
