Help with Win. .30-30 Value
I may be trading for a Ted Williams/Winchester in .30-30.

The gun is in very good condition with one scratch on the reciever where someone let a screw driver slip. Other than that it is one of the nicest ones I have seen, with zero blue wear.

I believe it was made in 1964. Transition year?

It was factory drilled and tapped for a side mount and peep sight, with no attitional holes.

I am only considering this trade to help my nephew get into a .22 pistol, so he can shoot the rimfire matches with us, and will probably sell the gun on.

So, what do you guy's think the gun would be worth?

Thanks for the help,

Riverman

Up to $350. I saw a pre-64 this weekend for $450 and a nice late 60's 94 for $400.

Wow, I thought it would be worth a little more than that.

I guess the Cowboy craze is dieing down.

Cowboys don't use 94 winchesters in 30-30 and the Ted Williams name is a detractor. Everyone sees a cheap Sears catalog gun. Not to bad mouth your rifle, but that is true here. Now if you had a pre 64 94, it would be worth double. Hard to get 300 here for one like that. And on a trade for a pistol; much lower.
