What are new Big Horn Armory model 89’s in 500 S&W actually going for?

I’ve seen several base models for sale on Guns international and Gunbroker at around $4k, and not moving. MSRP for the base model is now $4499.00 (I guess Big Horn made huge price increase in February). Anyone have a good idea what the base models are actually selling for?

They are made to order. I think the ones you are seeing were made before the price hike and some people are trying to cash in their rifles to make a few bucks. My guess is a few flippers will occasionally order one and try to make a profit off someone who doesn't have the patience to wait the roughly 18 month wait.

Other than that, order directly from the builder and pay their price.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

I’ve had mine maybe 10 years. I just looked at their website. Prices have more than doubled since then.
It is a real machine!
