Models and Calibers
I don't even look twice at a lever action rifle in these models unless it is in these calibers:

Winchester 1894 or 94: .30-30
Marlin 1893 or 93 or 36 or 336: .30-30
Winchester 1892: .44-40
Winchester 1873: .44-40
Marlin 94: .44 Mag.
Winchester 1895: .30-06

Nothing else even interests me in the least.

Am I missing anything?

You really aren’t missing a lot.

I will say you can really have some fun with a Marlin in 45C or 41 Mag.

Also I thing you are missing out on the classic Savage 99.

All looks good except for the 1895. 30-40 and 405 tickle my fancy. Have one of each.

Yes you are missing a lot; Here is what you should be shooting:
Win 92 38-40. Which is actually a 40 caliber for those who think it is a 38.
Win 86: 38-56
Marlins;33 WCF, 45-70 or 38-56.
Win 94; you got one right, but the 32 Special is fun too.
On the Win 95s; be careful with 30-06s in them; they will set back the bolt face and have excessive headspace. Bolt steel was too soft.
Another note; on the Miroku 95 in 270; I made it my mission to destroy as many of them as possible and convert them to 405.

I love my Savage 99. It’s just that I don’t feel the same way about it as the models I listed.

There isn’t just one caliber in it that interests me. There are several.

My favorite is the .308 Win., so that’s what I’ve got. But the .243 Win., the .250-3000, the .22 Savage Hi-Power, the .284 Win. and the .300 Savage all interest me.

Upon second thought, I wouldn’t turn down the .30-40 or the.405 Win. in a Winchester 1895, either.

You missed my favorite, the 25-35, 38-55 in 94, 55 saddle rings in all the calibers..I have a number of 99s over the years 1950ish fwt in 308, 284, 250, 358 and about any 99 in good conditiion, favorite is a thakedown 250-3000 st grip rifle that shoots sub inch groups all day long..I like,em all at one time or another...Winchester and SAvage that is..

Additionally you aint wrong, your just satisfied and that my friend is a winner anyway you cut it.
