Marlin 357 carbine
I have one of these that is new in the box and I am thinking of selling it. Is this a desired rifle??? My buddy told me not really because everyone wants the 44 mag. What are you lever guys thoughts? Thanks

I'd be interested since it would mean completing my revolver/lever sets, but I have no idea about universal desirability.

Cowboy action shooters would be the biggest market, probably.

A friend of mine here in south Texas deer hunts with one and is very successful. Velocity of the .357 mag. increases dramatically when fired from rifle length barrel. It's not a dud, you should be able to get a fair price for it.

velocity is like a new car, always losing value.
BC is like diamonds, holding value forever.

I just bought one that was near new that did not have a safety for 300.00 and I really like it.
