I was wondering if you'd be able to remain civil. I am often confused by your posts as they simply make little sense. Like the quote above ! Where does that come from and what are you talking about ???

If you can get me me a African hunt for $2800 includeing Airfare, hotel, transfers, parking, insurance, trophy fees, tips and all the other expenses then have your man call me and I'll be on the next flight ! Most hunts run a daily rate and require a minimum 10 days to hunt a buffalo add trophy fees and incidentals and if you can get a plains game hunt WITH a buffalo under 10k then you indeed have found a bargain. I don't usually look for the cheapest outfitter I can find but that's just me.

It really seems seems you are debateing with yourself. Was there ever any question that the 45-70 in certain areas would work well for plains game ? I don't see the correlation to hunting DG or its legality to do so. Like I said before, Its your hunt and if your so sure it will stop a buffalo and its legal then stop typing and go hunting !
