I am not a fan of Weaver bases and although Henry recommends the Weaver 63B for the Henry H010 Lever gun in 45-70, I saw where someone said the Marlin 1895 one piece base will fit the Henry H010.

Does anyone know if this is correct?'

I went ahead and bought a Leo one-piece for the Henry. It appears it will work, but only uses 3 of the 4 holes available in the receiver. This is a QR base which might come in handy if I ever have to follow up on a wounded bear in thick cover.
