FATBOY4041895 GBL Help
Hi Guy's.
I am in the process of crossing over to the dark side and buying a 1895 GBL 45-70.
I think I will fit some XS Ghost ring sights.
Anyone on here useing them or something better ?.
What are your thoughts on my choice ?.
Cheers Neale.

tetonkaMidway USA has a good set of Ghost Ring sights,
made by XS Sight systems for Marlin 1895s.
Their part number 363-936 listed at $84.99 US. Suggest you give this a look. Should work great unless you want some scope mount combination.
Good luck

Why not go all the way to the totally tasteless side and get the SBL? Stainless steel, big loop lever and it comes with the XS sights as standard equipment. The gun is so ugly that it almost instantly increases the perceived value of every other gun that you own.
It is also one of the most fun-to-shoot, practical hunting rifles that I have ever owned. An absolute keeper. The XS set is an extremely usable and well-built aperture sight set, and very low-profile and rugged for hard use.
