Marlin in 500 S&W?

The 500 S&W runs at considerable too much pressure for the Marlin.
Wild West is building on a modified action to my understanding.

When the Marlin 336 action is used for a 45-70 a groove must be milled in the bottom of the barrel to accept the magazine tube which is .700" dia. This leaves a wall thickness at the threaded end (tenon/chamber) of the 45-70 barrel of only .110". The 45-70 is already pushing the limits of this action. Wonder what the Wild West "modified" action will be like?

Marlin couldn't even make the .480 Ruger work in their rifle.

I believe the 500 S&W case dimensions are too large for the current Marlin frame to handle safely. I can put a 45-70 case inside a 500 sw mouth to mouth
