Making a Marlin 336 a bit special
I have just bought a new Marlin 336 AS - a straight forward wood/blued affair which will be my first rifle for the bush.
However, I want to make it my "own" and want to change or add a few bits.
Firstly - new foresight and ghost/aperture sight.
Then scope rail and scope with QD mounts.
And finally do something nice with the stock.

I'm looking at XS sights and rails, but I'd love to hear what you chaps can advise about sights, scope and not forgettng the stock...

This is my first post here, having just moved to NZ, and so would really like to hear some thoughts from across the globe!

Slap a good scope on it and go hunting. It'll be plenty special after you use it on it's first Deer.

If you are interested in a Synthetic Stock, the fine folks at Natchez have the Ramline 336 Marlin Synthetic Set On Sale through September for $38.39. You might need to mention Flier Key=F706100.

1-800-251-7839 if you all can call the USA from there. Wink

Not sure what the Shipping would be to NZ. Might be more than the Ramline Stocks.

Is it a 30-30?
