Reading on Levers
Can anyone suggest any good publications, electronic or otherwise for reading about hunting with lever actions. Just have the urge to expand my knowledge on what game people shoot with which calibre and anything else of relevance.

Karl - "Rifle" magazine, as well as "Handloader", always has an article or two on levers. Dave Scovill (editor) is a huge fan levers and seems to come up with new items to test every issure. Also Ken Waters's "Pet Loads" feature various levers he's tested (always a good "read"). Regards - Mags

check out this web site, there are a few articles about levers on it. Also there is a forum on the site where you could ask the question. I have the same username over there as here.

Karl, rifle / hanloader published a special magazine all about Lever guns and i believe it is still available from them. It is great reading and covers all lever guns. Dave scovill was the editor and wrote several of the articles. You should also look up Hawk bullets they teamed up with Dave and built some neat big bore lever guns on the 1895 Winchester ( New version) wave

The best source of reading material on lever action rifles, known to man, is that little pamplet that comes in the box with Winchester 1886, Winchester 95 and Winchester 92.
You read those three and you've got it down.
