dsitemanUnique Rear Sight for Big Bore Marlin Lever Rifles
Hello,
Not sure how many are familiar with the rear sight found on the U.S. Service Rifle Model M1 Garand, or the U.S. M14 Service Rifle, but it is generally considered as the finest rear sight found on a service rifle. It is durable, accurate, and in short, "battle proven..." Well, the D-Site is mfg. from a 2 lb. block of 4140 alloy steel to very close tolerances and fitted with the necessary parts from above stated Service Rifles. The base is mounted on the top receiver of the Marlin lever guns and utilizes the scope base screw holes and "nests" very snugly and securely on the receiver. If you would like to see one mtd. on a Marlin, drop me an e mail giving your e mail and I will forward some photos and answer all your questions possible. I started out making D-Site for flat tops 15/16's and have since expanded the design to Marlins and Rem. 700 receivers. Thanks for looking

dsitemanHello,
Thanks for the inquiry/response. I am not sure how you post a photo on the site, but can send you photos if you send me your e mail. Mine is d-site@charter.net. If you could point me in the right direction on posting photo on the site and if that is "legal..." I will do that as well. Good to see than you are familiar with the sight system on the Garand and the 14/M1A. I shot service rifle matches for several years and like the sight system and simply switched the concept over to other types of rifles. Again, thanks for the inquiry and once you see the photos, and should have questions, drop me a line and will answer as well as possible.
Thanks,
dsiteman
I would like pics as well and if you wanted one how you would go about getting one.
Regards PC.

dsitemanHell again PC
Well, I misinformed you on where to find the pics I mentioned. Go to the following:
http:cast boolits.aimoo.com/ and then go to Special Projects section, scroll down to "Unique Rear Sights." Sorry about the confusion.
