There was a good article in the Gun Digest many years ago on how to do this (I will see if I can find it tonight). I have worked over two M94's as prescribed and they both now shoot well. It is kind of frustrating when an iron sighted M94 will out shoot your high dollar scoped rifle!

Glass bed the forend and buttstock, if done properly they shoot very well indeed, usually about 1 to 2 inches off a bench at 100 yards...I have not bedded the newer guns, but the old ones sure take to it.....

Mark and Ray... thanks for the information... I can see where the buttstock could be bedded at the tangs to tighten things up pretty well. I'm not sure about the forearm... do you just do the front of the forend, and the rear, where it slips into the receiver? That would make some sense.. holding it all in the same position, shot to shot....
