Snellstrom1873 Winchester Butt stock
I have a real nice 1873 Winchester rifle with a broken butt stock.
I would like to find an original vintage one to replace it.
Besides Turnbull what other shops that restore Winchesters might I try that may have "take off" stocks for an 1873?
I may have asked a similar question here before but I'm giving it another run.
Thanks to anyone who is interested in helping.

hogfarmerThis outfit offers replacement stocks, I have no experience with them so this isn't an endorsement, just a possible resource.
https://www.precisiongunstocks...ntents/en-us/d1.htmlTreebone also makes stocks for the 73. He does good work judging from what I've seen, but is more expensive.

SnellstromThanks hogfarmer I have both of those links.
As I said in my post though I'm looking for an original "take off".

AlanFaulknerYou might try contacting Columbia Precision in Timnath, CO. He may be able to help. Sorry, I don't have contact info handy.

Why?

NormanConquestMost likely because then they are left with a partial original rifle that would not pay to part out.You might try Numrich or Jack First but I would'nt hold my breathe.

SnellstromI just figured that when they strip the old wood off and refinish the rifles to new with fancy wood they would have old factory wood leftover in piles.
