Re: Win 94 Experiences?
In the Cabelas catalog they have a limited edetion of the Winchester '94 with a 20" octagon barrel in 44 mag. I think its a very slick looking gun. It even has a crescent buttplate. I lean towards any sort of Fiber optic site if I can't use a scope which I do like even on a 50 yard gun.

After looking at Cabela's I was shocked to see they want $899 for a gun with a MSRP of roughly $750 !! You can get the same gun from Davidson's for under $600 here. It is D/T for a scope but I was unable to find the twist rate for the barrel. The model is the Trails end. Octagon/Blue for both the prices from Cabela's and Davidson's. There is a 20" round barrel version (blued) with a saddle ring that is under $500 here from Davidson's. The octagon model also comes in a chemical case colored version.
