Yes sir I am. They look really nice, online at least. I would love a 270 or 30-06 if they shoot well.

onefunzr2I thought they discontinued the B78 when they came out with the model 1885 hi-wall in 1985?
My 1885 hi-wall in 22-250Rem has a 28" octagonal barrel.

HEAD0001It looks just like the old B-78(without further inspection). They put some nice wood on the old 78's. But I did not like the Monte Carlo. But then I am left handed. A lot of lefties bought the 1885 without the MC. I think this will hurt their sales a bit. Tom.

MickinColoIt has a lever but does a single shot rifle qualify as a topic on the lever Action Rifles Forum?
24” round barrels? No thanks.
My 1885 has a proper octagon barrel

A round barrel on the B78 ?
