StonecreekBelgian BLR
I came across a Browning Lever Action rifle in .308 at a gunshow this weekend that had its barrel labeled "Made in Belgium". It had the concaved receiver and protruding magazine. My recollection was that TRW of the U.S. had the first contract to produce these rifles, then production was moved to Miroku in Japan. I didn't know that they were ever made in Belgium -- or was only the barrel made in Belgium and the receiver made in the U.S. by TRW?
TRW made a few hundred then production moved to Belgium in about 1970 to 1973? Then to Japan. I have a Belgium in .308Win its a great rifle!

StonecreekThanks for the info, Steve.
I probably should have tried to bargain the owner out of that one, but I would have a hard time inventing an excuse for yet another medium-bore rifle in my arsenal.
