Thinking about the Browning BLR Take-Down, I began to wonder about getting extra barrels in different calibers.

How hard is this? I would stick with the same case head size and I would try to stay in the same general case body diameter and length so I can use factory magazines and avoid feeding issues.

Have you tried contacting Browning to see if it could be done from the factory? While not perfect, a 243/308/358 setup could cover most bases for you if they could be persuaded to do it.
