SchauckisWhat the....?
...hell is THIS???
Widforss auction click: "Vapenauktionen" -> click: "Maj 2012" and scroll down and you'll see what I mean!
There's actually a text explanation, as well.
I'll reveal the details once you've stared your eyes out.

MikelravyThat one looks like a cross between a Winchester and a Krag.

SchauckisWell,
It sold for SEK 22 000 = $ 3140.
The info tells us:
Rifle, Swedish, make: unknown, model prototype, cal. approx. 9mm, no serial number, adjustable sights, steel nose (?), barrel band, straight wood stock with grip grooves and steel buttplate, some blemishes on the blueing, some dents on the stock, a split in the stock, dent on the underside of the stock, the cleaning rod (?) is missing, otherwise good condition, a mix of Krag/Remington and Winchester, you pull the lever down and then back to cock the mechanism, the bottom part of the mechanism is detachable - a lever-straight-pull repeting rifle.
Michiganshooter: dunno if it ejects down, up, sideways, back, forward or in some other general direction.....

MickinColoThat’s the most interesting “tomato stake” I’ve ever seen. And it only cost $3100,, bonus.

Wow what a crazy gun!
Here are the pics:
Now the interesting thing to me is that it is not really a lever action, as the lever does not appear to actually pivot, if you look closely it pulls backwards instead. Notice how the cocking piece is always located behind the trigger when the "lever" is moved backwards.
