Microgroove barrels are only an "issue" for some cast bullet shooters.
If you are going to feed the rifle an exclusive diet of jacketed bullets it simply isn't an issue.
And even less so if it's going to be an exclusive diet of factory ammo
The only arguement you are likely to get from making a statement that 999 of 1000 30-30 rifles will ever be fed anything other than factory ammunition will be from someone who'll tell you that 9999 of 10,000 is probably closer to the truth.
I personally prefer Marlins, but recently purchased a fairly clean example of a Winchester 94.... each firearm has it's merits, but which is "better" when comparing these two firearms is largely a matter of personal preference.
Though since you seem concerned about "fouling" I'll add this important detail, removing the lever, bolt and ejector from a Marlin is literally one screw and a matter of a few seconds work.
This gives you access to clean the bore from the breech.It takes scarcely more time to reassemble a Marlin
Winchesters OTOH either go uncleaned for a generation or two or are cleaned from the muzzle, because disassembling a winchester 94
is (with practice) a 20-30 minute job
(IF the screws actually will comeout)
As the stock, elevator, and the lower tang must be removed to get the breech bolt out of the receiver
So expect to spend an hour (likely longer if it's your first time) disassembling and reassembling (probably requiring help from someone who's put one back together) a winchester 94 plus whatever time you actually spend cleaning the bore from the breech...
I'd say that with where pigs usually live you'll come to greatly appreciate how easily a Marlin can be stripped for cleaning
