You and me both! (And I well remember a Win.92 in varying calibers in upstate NY on the local farms) Don't recall if it was a 25-20 but I recall handling a 92 every once in a while and thought the action felt "flimsy". That's my word and I guess I mean, looking back over 60 years, that the action didn't feel as "solid" as my Dad's Savage 99 in 30-30 -itself an "old timer" even then! Smiler Still, I'm grateful to a fellow New Yorker for posting the pictures. It brought back memories. Those old timers still have the power to fascinate us, don't they?
