Turnbull 475
I am thinking about ordering a Turnbull Lever gun in a 475 Turnbull.

Any experiences good or bad with Turnbull? With the 475? Take-down Model? Any other suggestions.

His reputation seems to be very good and he wears a cool hat.

I may bring it to Africa one day.

I have one of his rifles in 475 Turnbull,it's a model 71 and not a take down,I am very satisfied with the quality of the work and finish, the gun is very accurate and the caiber is deadly on pigs,I will most likely take it to Africa with me on my next trip.

Mike,
I bought one in Dallas... if we both make it to the Spring Hoot-n-Shoot you are welcome to shoot her. Workmanship is good, haven't had the time to shoot her yet but will soon and let you know how the cartridge and gun performs.
