Has any body had a 30-30 Marlin 336 rebored to 38-55. or any thoughts on the project. I am going to use it on FL pigs. Dave

there's a company called jrs reboring that could handle what you want done no problems.
the 30-30 with 170's should have no problems handling a pig.

The 30-30 has no problem with pigs. I am looking for an excuse to have another caliber.
