PeterI think a similar question may have been posted before. I have a Taurus in 22mag. stainless steel (8 shot). I think the model is 942 but not sure. The hammer spring is very heavy, but the gun is a keeper as far as I am concerned. Not super accurate, but adequate, and heavy enough so that it is very manageable. recoil and noise is not noticeable. As I say, a keeper.

SDHandgunnerI used to have a 2" Stainless-Steel Taurus Model 94 in .22 LR. I actually really miss that little revolver and have wished I had never sold it to a good friend.
Granted the accuracy was not the greatest with the 2" Barrel (short sight radius and all) but it was just as accurate as the 2" J-Frame Smith & Wesson .22 LR Revolver I had years ago. The Single Action Trigger pull on my Taurus Model 94 wasn't bad at all, but the Double Action Trigger Pull was not nearly as smooth as that of a Smith & Wesson.
All in all the Taurus Model 94 was a dream to pack, and fun to shoot.
