David CulpepperFound a Anschutz Deal
My buddy and I where down at our hunting property today sighting in a new 375 Ruger and he mentioned to me that the local pawn shop had a couple of left hand Anschutz that they have had for about a year. So, I said lets go check them out. Turns out one was a 1415-1416 22lr with a leupold 4x scope. I was talking to the guy and he said make me an offer. Knowing that he had it for a year I offered $600 and he said deal. Got it back to my friend's house and the thing was still sighted in and shoots like a dream. This is one of the best deals I have found.

Hot CoreHey David, Congratulations on a great deal for sure. I always enjoy hearing about someone getting a bargain, and it sounds like you hit the jackpot.
David,
Way to go Buddy.
I also have a 22lr 1415 L/H, it's a nice rifle and a good shooter - I am pleased with it.
Have fun with yours, too.

Hot CoreHow well do the rifles you all have shoot?
What ammo are you using?

I have found that Anschutz seem to be some of the most accurate around.
I have been using Federal Gold Medal 40gr in my rifle.

Hot CoreHey David, What size Groups, at what distance?
The reason I ask is because Anschutz is making the current Weatherby XXII, which has my interest.

David CulpepperWhen I was shooting my new one I was out of targets so we used what was available. Shoots were at about 40 yds and first taget was a spent shotgun shell and I shot that around for awhile. Then used a soda can laying down with top facing me, put all but two of the shots in top opening where you drink the soda out of.
Back in the day my buddy was on his high school shooting team and they used the Anschutz rifles and they won the state title several years.
